Centos will run on all Dacentec equipment. Most equipment is tested with CentOS, and CentOS has a better chance of supporting specialty raid devices in custom servers.
The Dell CS-24 is a good example, that server has full support for it's RAID in centos, but the server cannot load windows, and other Linux distros don't support the RAID.
